When The Curtain closed its doors, we certainly shed a tear, it was one of our faves in that neck of the woods, along with the Ace Hotel who also sadly closed in recent months......BUT we have GOOD...no...no.....GREAT news!
There is a new hotel on the horizon with a Spring 2021 date stamp! Accor & SBE will be opening a 120 bedroom hotel beautifully named - The Mondrian Shoreditch London - and we are already digging out our overnight bag and cannot wait to get in the door! We are also intrigued to find out what they have in store for the rooftop which used to be for members only or for private events! Will it be another Rumpus Room similar to their sister hotel The Sea Containers London? Also, what will Red Rooster Restaurant become? We will keep you posted!
The Curtain Members Club will still operate as usual under the same name.
