Updated: Dec 3, 2020

Steak. A premium cut of beef, great for all occasions and most importantly loved by most! We’ve found the restaurants who source the finest beef and cook it to perfection, some including home kits if you don’t fancy venturing out just yet. Enjoy!

Hawksmoor

Price Range: £££

Food Menu & Wine Menu

First opening their doors in 2006 in Spitalfields, they made a commitment to serve only the best beef that Britain has to offer! Their favourite cuts you need to try are Bone-In Prime Rib, T-Bone, Porterhouse & Chateaubriand - be warned because these cuts are big but perfect for sharing. Although the steak is definitely the star of the show, this restaurant offers amazingly fresh seafood as well as some delicious sides (we’d recommend Grilled Bone Marrow or their Triple Cooked Chips… yum!)

Our suggested Red Wine Pairing with your Steak: Hartenberg, Cabernet Sauvignon, 2016: Stellenbosch, South Africa.

Bonus: They have now introduced Hawksmoor at home! This gives you 2 options of boxes (one with drinks and one without) so you can experience the quality of the restaurant from the comfort of your own home. Made to share for two, you’ll find steaks, sides and pudding included!
