Covent Garden is well-known for the atmosphere, with the markets, street entertainers and plenty of outdoor dining, it's the perfect place to go as lockdown eases. Outdoor dining is set to come back into play on the 12th of April and we are counting down the days until we can be back at some of our favourite spots and it's made even better with the lovely weather well on the way.
Covent Garden Piazza
The historic pedestrianised piazza was laid out in 1630 and is the central square of the area. The open space is popular with street performers and is home to some iconic restaurant spots.
In The Market Building
This original market would encourage people from all over to pick up their produce. Its popularity ended with the actual market being moved somewhere else and it is now a lively area with street stalls, shops and places to eat. The covered area is a perfect spot to dine outdoors when the weather takes a turn.
The street was originally home to many famous artists. It is now a well-known street with some of the best restaurants in the area with seating out the front.
King Street, Floral Court & Floral Street
Between King Street and Floral street sits a courtyard tucked away which is the perfect place for a spot for lunch. be sure to check out the largest tea wall in the world at Mariage Frères.

Just by the tube station, this is the first area you will see and is a street full of atmosphere. Grab a drink at the Nag's Head and watch the world go by outside.
